TikTok needs more final checks than a typical text channel. Even a finished video is not fully prepared until the caption, visibility and interaction options available to that specific account have been reviewed.
Review the actual content separately from the schedule
The video or photo post should be final before a publishing time is assigned. Check for test frames, draft covers or a version that was actually meant for another platform.
Visibility is an editorial decision
Decide who should be able to see the post before delivery. Available options depend on the account and platform conditions, so review them before launch day.
Do not enable comments, Duet and Stitch automatically
These settings affect how people can interact with the content. Open interaction may be useful for one post while another campaign may intentionally need tighter controls.
Separate content readiness from publishing availability
The platform can temporarily restrict account publishing or return a processing error. That is different from an editorial problem with the video, so the technical result should stay visible separately.
Wait for the final status after delivery
TikTok may process content after it is submitted. Do not treat the task as complete simply because the file was sent; verify the final result.
Supported automated delivery scenarios are described on the TikTok autoposting page.
